Q1. What are your top priorities if elected to the City of Bayswater council?

My top priorities if elected to council are around making it easier to build homes near trains, ensuring our streets are lined with trees and increasing the active transport usage in our city.

Q2. What will you do to enable more walking and cycling in the City of Bayswater?

The best way to increase walking and cycling is to make these forms of transport safer and easier. When local governments invest in protected cycle lanes separated from traffic this directly leads to increased uptake of cycling by citizens.

Q3. What will you do to increase the City of Bayswater's tree canopy?

The best way to increase the City of Bayswater tree canopy is to use land more efficiently so that we can reserve land for trees. When we build more densely we are able to house more people using less land - which is the best way to create more opportunities to build green spaces.

Q4. What will you do to help our community reduce emissions and support a move to renewable energy?

Supporting renewable energy requires an education program to teach people about electrification and what options they have to get support in making the switch away from gas. We also need to link renewable energy construction to new housing development. Every new build in the city should be financially incentivised to ensure it is the most sustainable it can be.
