F or any teacher/educators/parent who is interested in implementing Sustainability Education in their school.
Our venue changes for each meeting. This meeting will be with the Waste Education Team at the Eastern Metropolitan Regional Council. This team provides school education excursions to Red Hill and useful educational resources for schools and teachers. They also assist you with Battery Collection and very shortly will be able to assist with information about the Container Deposit Scheme and the new FOGO bin introduction across member Councils.
You can find out more about the EMRC at www.emrc.org.au
Sustainable Schools Networks around Perth provide an opportunity for educators to meet in their local area, learn skills, access guest speakers on a wide range of topics, exchange ideas, build capacity, troubleshoot and finally engage students in creative learning across our schools.
Rachael Roberts is currently organising these meetings as the Co-ordinator of Environment House in Bayswater and Sustainability Teacher at Hillcrest Primary School, recognised in 2018 as Waste Wise School of the Year.
