Sustainable Bayswater is an EnviroHouse community project for a more sustainable, climate-resilient future.
Sustainable Bayswater
Sustainable Bayswater is an important arm of EnviroHouse, running practical community initiatives throughout the year that help households live more sustainably, including:
- Regular Share and Repair sessions, helping community members repair and reuse household items, reducing waste and diverting significant amounts of material from landfill.
- Community clean-up activities, bringing volunteers together to remove litter from local public spaces and improve the local environment.
- A Reusable Party Kit program, providing free access to reusable party supplies to help reduce single-use waste and encourage more sustainable celebrations. The program continues to support the community in avoiding the purchase and disposal of large numbers of single-use items.
