Every action matters
Practical actions we can take to be kinder on the planet.
Small day to day actions translate to meaningful lifestyle changes. There's many things we can do to live more sustainably. Here you can learn and get involved with the steps we are taking at EnviroHouse.
You can volunteer with us, or a local land care group, advocate for more tree canopy in your area, start looking at how you and your household can avoid and divert waste through initiatives such as our monthly Share & Repair and Recycling Station. Get to know your neighbours and be involved in creating biodiversity links — also known as green corridors for birds, reptiles and insects to live.
Participate in lifelong learning — book into a workshop or education session, do your shopping locally, see if your workplace, club or school can join in planting, weeding or cleaning up rubbish.
Take steps to electrify your life and transition to renewable energy options as the opportunity arises.
“The fact is that no species has ever had such wholesale control over everything on earth, living or dead, as we now have. That lays upon us, whether we like it or not, an awesome responsibility. In our hands now lies not only our own future, but that of all other living creatures with whom we share the earth.”
— Sir David Attenborough
