When visiting the EnviroHouse eco shop or community garden it's a great opportunity to explore our surrounds. The Eric Singleton Bird Sanctuary, Urban Forest and Riverside Gardens are right on our doorstep.

Getting here

By train

Catch the train to Bayswater Station, on the Midland and Airport lines that run between Perth City and Midland. Trains run every 10 minutes for most of the day, and the trip from the Perth CBD takes just 12 minutes. (View the Midland Line timetable and Airport Line timetable.)

From Bayswater Station, head east towards the river and walk along King William Street, past the Bayswater Library, for around 1km until you reach Guildford Road. Cross Guildford Road and continue for roughly another 0.5km — EnviroHouse is the last house before the Eric Singleton Bird Sanctuary car park.

By bus

Bayswater is well served by Transperth's bus network. The main routes are Bus 48 from Perth City, Bus 998 from Murdoch Station and Bus 999 from Shenton Park Station. The Circle Route (98–99) and Guildford Road bus stops are both about a 5-minute walk from EnviroHouse.

By bike or on foot

Cyclists and pedestrians can easily reach us via the Perth–Midland Principal Shared Path (PSP), a protected path running alongside the train line that also suits prams, scooters, skates and wheelchairs. The ride from the Perth CBD is a flat, scenic, fully-paved journey that largely follows the Swan River — family-friendly, with plenty of riverside parks and cafés to stop at along the way.
